How Our Puppy Adoption Process Works at Bestland
If you are ready to adopt an Australian Labradoodle, the Bestland process is simple and clearly laid out. You start with an online application, place a $500 deposit to reserve your spot, and then follow your puppy’s progress through weekly photo and video updates. You are invited to open houses at six and nine weeks, and your puppy goes home at nine weeks with a microchip, health records, ALCA registration paperwork, a puppy care sheet, and lifetime breeder support. Families near the farm pick up in person, while those farther away can use our nanny flight delivery to major airports. The whole process is designed to be transparent and supported from the first message to homecoming. To begin, call Jeremy at 770-709-8497 or start your application.
Step 1: Submit your application
Everything begins with the online puppy application. This is not a test to pass, it simply helps us understand your household, your experience with dogs, and what you are looking for in a puppy, so we can help match you with the right fit. We read every application personally.
Step 2: Reserve with a deposit
Once you are approved and ready to move forward, a $500 deposit reserves your place. That deposit is applied toward your puppy’s price, so it is part of the total rather than an extra cost. From here, you are officially part of the Bestland journey.
Step 3: Follow your puppy's progress
After you reserve, you receive a welcome packet and start getting weekly photo and video updates as your puppy grows. This is one of the most-loved parts of the process. You watch your puppy go from newborn to wobbly explorer to confident little companion, all before you bring them home.
From application to homecoming, you are never left guessing. Updates and open houses keep you close.
Step 4: Visit at the open houses
We host open houses at six and nine weeks so you can meet your puppy in person, see the farm, and ask Jeremy, Marcella, and the family any questions. Many families tell us the setup, the land, and meeting the dogs in person is what confirms they made the right choice.
Step 5: Bring your puppy home
At nine weeks your puppy is ready to go home. Each one leaves with a microchip, current health
records, ALCA registration paperwork (finalized after proof of spay or neuter), a puppy care
sheet, and our lifetime breeder support. You have two ways to bring your puppy home:
- Farm pickup in Rome, Georgia, for families who want to make the trip.
- Nanny flight delivery to major airports, with a travel crate and health certificate, for families farther away.
What happens after homecoming
Adopting from Bestland is the start of a long relationship, not the end of a transaction. We stay
reachable for the life of your dog for questions big and small. Down the road, you can even board
your dog with us at our on-site facility and have them groomed during the same stay, so a dog we
raised comes back to familiar faces. You can read the full details on our
How to Adopt page and see current litters on the
Available Puppies page.
