Meet the family
Our journey started in 2010 when we were looking for a service dog for our daughter Laya who has cerebral palsy. It was very hard to make up our minds as to what was the best breed for her and our family.
Because of her physical restrictions, we were very concerned about her safety. We were looking for certain traits that were almost impossible to gather together in a single dog, it seemed. Because Laya can’t move at all we needed a dog that was non-aggressive. She could not defend or protect herself if the dog were to turn aggressive, not even rough-playing. We were also looking for an intelligent dog, fairly easy to train because we did not have an endless amount of time with all our family demands. We had to have a dog that I could tolerate since I (Marcela) have severe allergies to most “hair” coats of dogs.
One day while driving to work, I heard on the radio about the Australian labradoodle. When I got home I started research on them and immediately fell in love. We visited a breeder, took Laya with us and just knew this was the dog for us.
Now we are committed to the continuation and betterment of this magnificent breed, and work hard every day to pass along the blessing that we once received and continue to receive from these lovely dogs.

We have litters ready to go to their forever homes all year round. We breed for excellence and go through extensive health testing in order to qualify our breeding dogs to produce the very best puppies for your family. We are members with the Australian Labradoodle Club of America (ALCA)
The ALCA is a strict club and requires only multi-gen Australian Labradoodles with extensive health and genetic testing performed in order to qualify a male or female to the breeding Legacy.
