We strive to produce not just a pet but a companion for you and your loved ones with the well known non-shedding, allergy friendly traits and that intelligence and sweet disposition that characterize the Multi-generational Australian Labradoodle, we also produce therapy and service dogs. Our Journey started a few years ago when we were looking for a pet/service dog for our daughter Laya who has cerebral palsy. It was very hard to make up our mind as to what was the best breed for her and our family.
Because of her physical restrictions, we were very concerned about her safety. We were looking for certain traits that were almost impossible to gather altogether in just one animal. Because Laya can’t move her arms and hands we needed a dog that was non-aggressive, she could not defend or protect herself if the dog were to turned aggressive, even playing. We were looking for an intelligent dog, fairly easy to train because really, we did not have an endless amount of time, with all our family demands, training while it was important, it couldn’t have been a priority (truth be told) this was a high priority. And last but not least, we had to have a dog that I could tolerate. I’m (Marcela) the only allergic person in the house to most ‘hair’ type coats of animals and have anaphylactic reactions.
After a few years, I heard on the radio about this magnificent breed and started my research as soon as I got home. Immediately, I felt in love with their looks and when I started to research more about them, it seemed like a perfect fit. We visited one breeder and took Laya with us to see how the dogs would react to her and her ‘equipment’ and it was awesome! Long story short, we were able to get a puppy and here we are, passing along the blessing that we once received and continue to receive from this particularly all-around lovely breed!
